Remodeling? Removing this wallpaper? Never!
I love it!
Guess bathroom
Remodeling? Removing this wallpaper? Never!
I love it!
and in our master...
I love taking my hot bubble baths here... particularly lovely on cold and rainy days.
The mirror on the wall?
Ah yes... forget it...
never turn your head towards it when taking your baths...
Just concentrate on the pretty wallpaper... and the bubbles
And relax
This is our tiny breakfast nook--little sitting area
adjacent to the kitchen, where I always try to have a vase or two brimming with
flowers or greenery.
It just make me
happy to see it the moment I open up our front door and walk into the house...
more roses in my little shabby chic guest room....
Have I shown you my new gypsy skirt? No?
Now embellishing my little green dresser
Until summertime arrives and I'll be able to wear it
love the pastel colors and tiny roses
Oh and have I told you I heard the fairies playing their reed
pipes and singing spellbinding songs out in the woods? Yes, the other day! I didn't get to see them thought. But I know they were up to something... Celebrating something perhaps? Who knows! Oh but I intent to find out what's going on out there... tomorrow, at
midday under the quiet, cloudless sky... would you be here with me? OK, meet me in the garden, near the woods.
See you then!
That bed looks SO comfy!!!! I wanna crawl in!!! =)
ReplyDeleteThere's our happy girl back with us...we lost you for a bit. No one can cast their magic like you do Cielo when you are happy. I think the Fairies are waiting for you in the woods...They know a kindred soul is now living in your house. Your new gypsy skirt is so pretty and I loved the silk rose tights you were wearing the other day. Do you paint Cielo? I would love to see what you see expressed on paper or canvas...Maybe that's why the fairies would sit still for a moment or two...

Sherry.... I'm dancing... yes yes. I'm happier. Can you tell? I thank you do! ;) I tell you what... I quit my job two days ago and what a huge weight had dropped off my shoulders... I'm free (for now).

I love the wallpaper in the bathroom, it really looks like you! Would you want to buy this house if it was for sale, or do you not really "love it"??
ReplyDeleteDelaine, I do love this house, but it is way over our budget ;( Especially now that I decided to be unemployed and free.

You sound so happy again, Cielo. I know what it's like to quit a job and be unemployed, depending on your husband's income to get by. But we are doing it. Scraping by, not saving a whole lot....but we're doing it. And my husband is now retired, so we're definitely on a fixed income. So little pleasures - like dancing in the woods - be come a sheer and utter pleasure. :) Enjoy your freedom, gypsy girl! (and I'd love to see what your new skirt looks like on you!)

Laurie... I have to confess... a secret... a powerful magic: I've been lifting you up every time I see you here. You're under HIS wings.

Oh, Cielo! Glad to hear you followed your heart. It isn't good for the spirit and soul to work in a place that strangles the magic within you. Your pretty touches are just beautiful. I'll be there in spirit when you meet with your fairies in the woods.
ReplyDeleteGayla... you know my story. And after all I went through last year, I'm not afraid any longer to follow my heart... freedom.

ReplyDeleteHello Dear Cielo, I was actually here and could not leave a comment - problem on my end. So delighted when I saw your link in Home and Garden Thursday - I hope all is well with you - that you're adjusting to southern life - it's not usually this way weather-wise. I know you're finding your voice once again in this new location ans well as finding how you can make your new home and garden as magical as yours was at The House in the Roses. So delighted to share with you and I'll be featuring your blog/post in this week's party,
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Kathy
