Happy thoughts

Oh wasn't this super extra fun! Thank you, and you and you my friend for making me dream with your stories in our previous post!  Interesting, isn’t it, how one thought can carry you through such diverse and analogous array of thoughts, and dreams and ideas.  Which it tells me that we are all one—one same heart beating in a multitude of souls.  Thank you again!

I’ve decided to leave our story without an end to see where it may lead… who knows what our three wishes would be?  Or how are we suppose to figure out what the diamond in the rose means to us, or what message are we to find in the roll of parchment paper neatly tied with the golden ribbon?

So fascinating indeed, won’t you agree!

So, this is what I’ve been up to lately…

Playing with Modge Podge glue….

Creating some lovelies with old books, ribbons, lace, Modge Podge glue and some imagination...

More of these little pots…

Playing fairy in the woods… ah yes, sometimes I pretend to be ‘normal’ but it gets way too boring for me, so I go back to being me… hehe!

My dearest dear mami and papi (mom and dad)...

I so treasure this photograph.

I love breakfast… and breakfast time.  One of my favorite time of day is when my husband and I get to share precious moments early in the morning at breakfast…

With coffee and whatever I fancy making that day….  Breakfast time is also a very special time of day, because that’s when we get together to pray and hear what the Great One has to say to us for the day… it is indeed a fulfilling and rewarding time of day.

Many people don’t realize how important the morning is.  God calls the sun to rise for us.  He is eager for us to wake up and talk to Him again.  And please, do believe that, because it truly truly is the truest truth there is.  God do wants a relationship with YOU!

For you....

I hope peace, love, and light find its way to you

in some way today

and every day.

Love,

Me

  1. I smile with delight each time I visit with you here. I like today how you treasure the old photos and give them new life. Someday a reader may say "that is my grandma in your photo."

    1. Oh yes yes… how magical and marvelous would be to meet Evelyn Millard’s great grand child here in my very own blog one day... and maybe have a conversation with some of the acquantances of Lina Cavalieri - le Belle Epoque beauty and Italian Opera Star, or my favorite of all--Lily Elsie! I have many replicas of the lovely Lily Elsie and I love them all. She was one of the most photographed women of le Belle Époque. Born on 1886 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. Any great-grand child of Lily Elsie here? Nice to meet you!

  2. Cielo, my heart flutters now every time I see you have posted something. It flutters with the anticipation of what you will come up with next. You paint poetry. You are truly a gift from God. xoxo Jen

    1. Ah, and may God grant you always... a sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you. And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you... from me to you!

      Hugs

  3. Cielo,
Such beautiful images and I love the decopodge on the pots, just lovely! I'm so glad you start your day with the Great One, how else can we make it in this world? We need him!
    Blessings to you,

    1. Love this quote--for you, Teresa!: “We should be astonished at the goodness of God, stunned that He should bother to call us by name, our mouths wide open at His love, bewildered that at this very moment we are standing on holy ground.”

How can I say “thank you” enough so that you may know how much those words really mean to me? Because they really do. Very often I find myself being "in people bondage" Over worrying about what people may think of me, the way I dress, the way I act and conduct myself, etc. Few things are more psychologically and mentally debilitating than this type of bondage. So yes, your words are like fresh water to me… thank YOU
